Its time to RAMBLE! Tour Troy’s urban trails by foot, bicycle, water, or whatever in this alternate transportation festival – discover places you have never seen! The Collar City Ramble covers Troy in ways that anyone can find to enjoy. Explore the historical, the undeveloped, the water, the hidden treasure, and the urban areas with a tour group or independently with materials from the booth. Event includes walking/hiking, biking group tours and kayak rides, Events are FREE!!

Transport Troy is sponsoring the 8th annual Collar City Ramble’s kayak event at the Ingalls Ave Boat Launch where we will have FREE kayaks available to use, on your own or during guided paddles.
At 10:00am a “flotilla” will paddle down to the Congress St. Bridge and back (about a 3-mile loop, approximately 1.5 hours). Starting at 10:30 there will be 3 led paddles for people using the FREE kayaks for public use (rented by @transport troy group from @upstate kayak rentals).
Participants are invited to arrive 15 – 30 minutes before they plan to launch to sign in and be outfitted with a boat and PFD. The usual Covid-19 precautions are in effect. Masks covering nose and mouth are required while on shore but may be removed while on the water paddling.
HIKING TROY’S FREAR PARK TRAILS A guided nature and history tour of Frear Park trails. Expect great views, reservoirs, beaver damns, wildflowers and butterfly gardens. Leaving from the Frear Park tennis courts parking lot.
