Its time to RAMBLE! Tour Troy’s urban trails by foot, bicycle, water, or whatever in this alternate transportation festival – discover places you have never seen! The Collar City Ramble covers Troy in ways that anyone can find to enjoy. Explore the historical, the undeveloped, the water, the hidden treasure, and the urban areas with a tour group or independently with materials from the booth. Event includes walking and biking group tours and self-guided tours, kayak rides, bike safety classes and even a geocaching expedition! Events are FREE unless otherwise indicated. The details of guided tours are listed separately.
The main hub and information booth will be at the Troy Farmers Market on Monument Square in downtown Troy, NY.

HIKE THROUGH HISTORY ALONG TROY’S UPPER WYNANTSKILL Leaving from the corner of Route 4/Mill Street and Campbell Ave., follows the history talk above. A narrated tour by local historian Michael Barrett. Expect some hills and dirt paths, picturesque woods and waterfalls, and industrial relics.
GEOCACHING TOUR THROUGH DOWNTOWN TROY Leaving from the Collar City Ramble information table on Broadway at the Farmers Market. Pros and amateurs enjoy the hunt led by an experienced geocacher.
